I was born in 1967 in Vsetín, Moravia. That was where I graduated from high school and Lidová škola umění, a youth art school. Then I moved to Prague where I got acquainted with diferent art techniques. Since 1995 I have been a freelancer. My art can be found also under my former surname Třísková.
My main way of expression is painting with oil, acrylic and watercolor paints, but I also did lithography and various other graphic techniques

Three years ago I made many jewels from crystal resin. The motifs under the resin are painted by hand, each piece is original.
Since 2012 I have been primarily making jewelry from PET bottles.
In fact, I encountered the PET by accident, but I have been fascinated by its possibilities ever since. It is readily accessible, because there are a lot of plastic bottles everywhere, it is easily workable, light and the jewelry I make from it resembles glass.
I had been toying with the idea of making beads from PET bottles for a long time and in 2014 I finally found the technology I needed.
The technology of making PET beads is very similar to the one that is used to make glass beads. The resulting product is indistinguishable from them, but PET beads are much lighter and virtually unbreakable. During the process, a great number of tiny air bubbles appears in the beads, which gives them a characteristic appearance.
